General Information

* Is there a charge to find auto shipping companies in USCarCarrier.com?

A. No. The directory provides auto shipping listings at no charge to you. In fact some auto shipping companies may provide discounts to USCarcarrier users. Use it just as you would use the yellow pages. Of course we think you'll get much more information from USCarCarrier.com than you would from any other auto shipping source!

* How far in advance should I schedule the transport of my vehicle?

A. We request that you schedule your move as soon as possible to insure that your car is moved within the time frame which best meets your schedule; however, if an immediate pick up is necessary, we can arrange for your vehicle to be picked up within 24 hours.

* How do I prepare my vehicle?

A. Please have no more that 1/2 tank of fuel, remove all personal items from your vehicle, repair any chips and/or cracks in your windows, and make sure your vehicle is prepared for changing weather conditions.

* What about insurance coverage?

A. The carrier transporting your vehicle will provide you with insurance. This insurance covers all damages caused by accidents while the vehicle is being loaded, major changes in the vehicle’s condition, and unforeseeable damage that is a result of mishandling by the carrier.

* What forms of payment are accepted?

A. Cash, cahier check, money orders, visa and master cards will be accepted. No personal checks and no business checks will be accepted. Payment must be arranged prior to pick up.

* What should the customer do if the vehicle arrives with damage?

A. Make sure that you let the driver know that the damage is new and were not on original bill of loading. All damages should be marked and noted clearly and let the driver sign off on them. The next step is to contact the carrier transporting your vehicle and let them know as soon as possible. Some carriers have a day limit so make sure you do it right away.
