Terms And Conditions

The following applies to all orders placed with US Car Carrier, LLC. Please retain a copy for your records
1. Quotes from US Car Carrier are valid for 10 days from the date issued or until a shipping agreement is received whichever occurs first. If 10 days have passed please call to confirm the rate.
2. All orders booked will be charged a deposit amount only when a carrier is assigned to transport the vehicle(s). The remaining balance is payable at the time of delivery to the carrier in the form of: Cash, Cashiers Check or Money Order only.
3. All transports are door to door. We will never use terminal yards to store your vehicle while waiting for a carrier to pick it up. If the requested pick up or delivery locations are non-accessible for the transporter due to low-hanging trees, narrow streets, weight restrictions, etc….the driver will arrange for you to meet at a nearby safe and legal location with ample loading space (gas station, grocery store, etc.).
4. US Car Carrier does not guarantee specific pick up and delivery dates. What we can give is an approximate time frame. This is normally 3 to 10 business days from the first day the car is available for pickup. Once the vehicle is assigned to a carrier, we will provide anticipated pick up and delivery dates.
5. US Car Carrier has a MONEY BACK GUARANTEE. If we have not assigned a carrier to move your vehicle within the normal 3 to 10 business day (2 week) window you are eligible for a full refund of your deposit. If your vehicle is booked on a transporter before you fax or email your cancellation you will forfeit the deposit.
6. It is the shipper's responsibility to make sure the vehicle is in proper working order. Should the vehicle(s) become inoperable during transport and INOP fee of $200.00 will be due at the time of delivery in addition to the balance already owed.
7. The shipper is responsible for preparing the vehicle(s) for transport. All loose parts, fragile or protruding accessories, low hanging spoilers, fog lights, etc., must be removed and /or properly secured. Any part that falls off in transit is the shipper's responsibility. This includes damages done by said part to any and all vehicles involved.
8. There will be a pick up and delivery inspection done by both the carrier and the responsible person. If any damage should occur all moneys owed for transport must be paid to initiate a claim. Damage must be noted on the bill of lading and signed by both the driver and responsible person. This must be done regardless of weather, time of day, or dirt on vehicle. Signing the bill of lading without a notation of damage verifies that the vehicle has been received in good condition and that the carrier is relieved of any further responsibility. Vehicle(s) MUST be checked thoroughly.
9. US Car Carrier and the carrier must be notified of any damages by phone with 24 hours. In most cases the carrier will ask for an estimate and send payment to you. In the unlikely event the carrier is non-responsive or unwilling to work with you, make sure you contact their insurance company to file a claim. US car carrier will assist you in this effort should such a problem occur.
10. US Car Carrier is a licensed (MC# 651974) and bonded broker. We are responsible for finding a licensed and insured Motor Carrier to transport your vehicle. We do not physically move your vehicle.
11. US Car Carrier or its agents are not responsible for personal goods placed in the vehicle, or any damage they may cause.
12. US Car Carrier or it agents will not be responsible for "Acts of God" (fire, flood, tornadoes, earthquakes, etc.) Each claim is different and should be taken up with the carrier's insurance.
13. US Car Carrier is not responsible for rental car fees, etc.
14. By either submitting your order online, sending your order by fax or email, US Car Carrier understands you are placing your order and accept the terms and conditions (in lieu of your signature) found here and on US Car Carrier 's website.
15. If a customer double books the shipping of their vehicle (s) with multiple transport company ( in that case two or more carriers will be picking the vehicle (s)). Or if a truck is sent to pick up the vehicle and it is not made available for pick up, for any reason, a dry run charge will apply in the amount of $250.00. A transporter is not required to wait to pick up a vehicle or to deliver a vehicle. If you make a special arrangement with the driver for him to wait, until the vehicle is available, any fees assessed, will be between you and the driver, and made payable solely to the driver, either at time of pick up or at time of delivery.
* Please note: This $250.00 dry run fee, is in addition to the normal quoted shipping rate.
16. Customer is the registered legal owner of the vehicle(s) and has the authority to enter into this agreement or has been duly authorized by the legal owner of the vehicle(s) to enter into this agreement.
17. Insurance: Trucking damage claims are covered by the carrier from $100,000 up to $1,000,000 cargo insurance per load, and a minimum of 3/4 of a million dollars public liability and property damage. All claims must be noted and signed for at the time of delivery, and submitted in writing within 15 days of delivery. There is zero deductible charged to the shipper or its agent.
